What is a swing trading screener?

A swing trading screener identifies stocks showing short-term setups — typically 7–20 day trades — where price has bounced off a key support (EMA, Fibonacci level, swing pivot) or rejected a resistance level. HeRAI's screener scores each setup by volume, trend alignment and risk/reward (R:R ≥ 2).

How does HeRAI detect swing trade setups?

HeRAI scans the daily (1D) chart of every India stock for actual bounces or rejections in the last 1–7 trading days. Supports tracked include EMA-10/20/50/200, recent swing pivots, and Fibonacci 38.2/50/61.8% levels. Each setup requires a confirming reversal bar with volume ≥ 1.1× the 20-day average and R:R ≥ 2.

How often are swing setups updated?

Swing setups are recalculated after every trading session using end-of-day (EOD) price data. The screener is refreshed daily so all entries, stops and targets reflect the latest closing prices.

What does R:R mean in a swing trade?

R:R stands for Risk:Reward ratio. HeRAI requires a minimum R:R of 2, meaning the potential profit target is at least 2× the distance from entry to stop-loss. This ensures only setups with favourable payoffs are shown.
