The company's lead compound is Lucid-MS, a patented new chemical entity that is in Phase 2 clinical trial to prevent and reverse myelin degradation, the underlying mechanism of multiple sclerosis, in preclinical models. It also develops FSD-PEA, which is in preparation for Phase 2 trial for the treatment of inflammatory diseases, such as mast cell activation syndrome; Lucid-PSYCH to treat major depressive disorder; and unbuzzd, a dietary supplement for the treatment of alcohol misuse. In addition, the company maintains a portfolio of strategic investments comprising loans secured by residential property. The company was formerly known as FSD Pharma Inc. and changed its name to Quantum BioPharma Ltd., in August 2024. Quantum BioPharma Ltd. was founded in 1998 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
